Meet Your Bird Watcher:
Myca Love Lopez
They say love knows no bounds, and I believe that should include the guest list!
My story begins in the heart of the Hill Country, growing up in Llano, Texas. That small-town upbringing gave me a deep appreciation for community and family-centered celebrations. As a single mother to my beautiful 11-year-old daughter, I’ve experienced firsthand the "child-free" wedding dilemma. I knew there had to be a way to honor a couple’s vision while still celebrating the family as a whole!
From the Classroom to the Celebration my professional heart has always been in education. I spent years as a Kindergarten teacher on the South Side of San Antonio, where I learned that a little patience and a lot of Vitamin G (Glee!) goes a long way. I continue my commitment to students as an Educational Diagnostician with South San ISD. With over 15 years of experience in Special Education, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting children with diverse needs—including Autism, ADHD, and Cerebral Palsy—from Pre-K through High School.
Los Love Birds was born from a desire to bring that clinical expertise and neurodiversity-affirming care to your big day.
Why I Do What I Do:
Los Love Birds is a Latina-owned service inspired by a simple realization: our children are the ultimate examples of love, and they belong at the party. We bridge the gap between "child-free" events and family-centered joy. Whether we are setting up a whimsical tent in San Antonio or a cozy nest in the Hill Country, my mission is to ensure that when love is celebrated, the whole family can be part of the magic.
